I confirmed with my installed Ubuntu and Fedora that, ໜ <-> ໝ and sometime ົ becomes ຍ. Tuinui ໑໑:໕໑, ໔ ມີນາ ໒໐໐໙ (UTC).
[ດັດແກ້] Functionality
It is recommended that the front page be in a different namespace, possibly the project namespace, rather than the 0 (main) namespace, as this creates problems for the bots. For compatibility, this change will also have to be made in: MediaWiki:Mainpage and MediaWiki:Mainpage-description: this should then correct the links in the sidebar, as displayed in MediaWiki:Sidebar. - Move the page to Wiktionary:Main page (in Lao, of course, though it seems you still use the Wiktionary namespace here), and change the text in MediaWiki:Mainpage to {{ns:Project}}:Mainpage where Mainpage is the Lao translation of Mainpage. This change in MediaWiki means that the link in the top-left corner and in the toolbar will be to the new location of the mainpage. As things are now, the Mainpage is occupying the place where there should be an article entitled mainpage. ;-) MediaWiki:Mainpage-description and MediaWiki:Sidebar do not need any changes made to them, the changes in location and mainpage-description will suffice.
